Your Learning Pathway: From Basics to Mastery

Full-Time

Year 1

During Year 1, students develop a strong foundation in business management and real estate. They learn how to manage organisations, lead people, analyse business data, make financial and economic decisions, and apply sustainable business practices. At the same time, students gain specialised knowledge in real estate economics, law, investment, and valuation. The year concludes with learning digital transformation, innovation, and research skills, preparing them for their final project in Year 2.

Year 2

The second year focuses on applying the knowledge and skills gained in Year 1 through an independent research project. Students identify a real-world issue in the real estate industry, develop a research proposal, conduct a systematic investigation, analyse findings, and produce a comprehensive project report. This stage enables students to integrate business and real estate knowledge to solve complex industry problems and make evidence-based recommendations.

Online (ODL) Part-Time

Year 1

Students begin by building core managerial competencies in organisational management, human resource empowerment, and business analytics. These courses establish the leadership and analytical foundations required for higher-level decision-making in the real estate sector.

Year 2

The second year focuses on ethics, sustainability, economics, finance, digital transformation, and research methodology. These subjects develop strategic thinking and equip students with quantitative and qualitative tools for solving complex business and property-related problems.

Year 3

The final year concentrates on specialised real estate knowledge, including economics, law, investment management, and valuation. Students then apply their accumulated knowledge through Project 1 and Project 2, where they identify a real estate issue, develop a research methodology, conduct the study, and produce a final project report.

Entry Requirement

A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment*; OR
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non–related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the HEP Senate and with relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment**; OR
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non–related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the HEP Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre–requisite courses***; OR
Other equivalent/related qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government.
