The WOU BBAC program enables working adults like me to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge required to pursue professional studies after graduation. BBAC at WOU has enabled me to pursue professional qualifications and become a Chartered Management Accountant (UK), Chartered Global Management Accountant (USA/UK), and Chartered Accountant (Malaysia).

I am from Kuching, Sarawak and have been with WOU since 2012 when I was pursuing my degree. I am very grateful for being able to continue my studies at the CeMBA level, WOU. Educational institutions for working adults. “It’s not easy to be easy” which is always shown in the heart to fulfill one’s own needs and wants. Hard work, trust is the key to success as well as help from WOU employees, lecturers and friends. Now in the process of advancing myself to continue my studies to the level of Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), WOU and pray that all matters will be made easier.

When I was looking for an institute to continue my higher studies after SPM. I came across Wawasan Open University. Which had this awesome programme called Diploma in Business Management (DBMG). The programme was affordable and also most suitable for me who wanted to continue my studies in business accounting. DBMG programme gave me the basic knowledge I need for my accounting studies. It also covers every theoretical and practical knowledge we need to start a business or work at a managing field. I’m really glad I choose DBMG programme which lead me to my next step of life after high school.

A precious opportunity for working adult to remain in work force while obtaining degree, so we do not have to suffer from the loss of income during course of study. Knowledge gained in this course is practical and applicable to the industry. Lecturers are knowledgable, but at the same time understanding and considerate to the students.

I learned a lot of things with the course I take but there is one thing that struck me the most learning the principles of HR, recruitment, labor laws and Organizational development that really helps me to do my current role at Jobstreeet Malaysia. The most useful thing I learned, when we study the application of HR knowledge is that helps me today in day-to-day engagement with the HR team of companies, especially in advising in hiring the right talent for the company.
