My mother was my biggest inspiration—she completed her Master’s with WOU close to retirement. Her determination and discipline showed me that if she could do it, then maybe I could too.

For me, the biggest game changer was the flexibility. With my unconventional and often unpredictable work schedule, being able to study anytime and anywhere—even while overseas—made it possible to pursue this degree without compromising my job.

This journey also helped rebuild my confidence. I had been out of school for years and never completed my undergraduate degree, so I was worried I might struggle to keep up.
