Digital manufacturing touches on Industry 4.0 technologies and has recently gained considerable interest. It helps to make companies and workers more competitive, agile and productive.

Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Sean Tan Koon Tatt is the Dean of the School of Technology and Engineering Science. His research interests lie in advanced manufacturing technology, particularly powder metallurgy and 3D printing. He has published several papers and book chapters on these topics. He is also an active journal reviewer and has contributed to the peer-review process for various academic publications in manufacturing engineering.
