ONLINE COURSE OVERVIEW

Microcredentials
Digital Circuit Design

In this course, you will explore a broad range of digital operational methods in electronic devices and gain fundamental knowledge about digital logic. Unit 1 focusing on digital sequential circuits like flip-flops, digital counters, and shift registers. Unit 2 covers various semiconductor memories, including non-volatile and volatile types, and introduces programmable logic devices for designing simple combinational logic circuits. The final unit delves into DC parameters associated with digital logic circuits, such as noise margin and power dissipation, and examines integrated circuit logic families, including bipolar and unipolar transistor logic, and advanced integrated logic circuits.

On successful completion of this course, you will:
Describe the various digital electronics circuit operation in a variety of engineering settings.
Differentiate among different types of ROM, RAM, PLD and it common applications.
Distinguish between the various logic families and their terminal characteristics.
Key Topics You Will Cover
Digital Counters and Shift Registers
Integrated Circuit Logic Families
Memories and Programmable Logics
