Understanding Personality Types

This course explores contemporary theories of personality and individual differences. Topics covered include individual differences, the influence of genetic versus environmental factors, person versus the situation. Various models of personality will be covered. Students will be exposed to the understanding of why we usually make judgements about the personalities of other people and vice versa. Students will then understand that humans are too complex and changeable in different situations with different people and realize that this course is important in understanding why people have their unique characteristics.
