Dr Tan Saw Fen is a senior Senior Lecturer at the School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Wawasan Open University, Penang, Malaysia. She is also the Programme Lead of Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE). Her research interest includes mathematics education, teacher professional development and open and distance learning.
