Profile
Dewi holds a PhD (Management) and an MBA specialising in Facilities Management and Environmental Economics (UTS) from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak. She is currently pursuing an MSt in Applied Criminology, Penology and Management from the University of Cambridge.
Before joining WOU, Dewi was a Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Business at Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, and has held several administrative positions over her two decades in academia. She started her career as an auditor at RSM Robert Teo Kwan & Co., then worked in Fleet Services at the Malaysia International Shipping Corporation Berhad after completing her studies at the Malaysia Maritime Academy.
Dewi is an experienced qualitative researcher. Her research interest is in the paradox of human experience, human performance as well prison studies. She has published on learning and teaching in higher education, emotional labour, entrepreneurship, and managerial leadership.
