In the spirit of Aidilfitri, Wawasan Open University (WOU) recently hosted a networking luncheon to engage key industry and academic stakeholders in a meaningful conversation to explore deeper collaborations within the education sector.
Organised by WOU’s Kuala Lumpur office, the gathering served as a strategic touchpoint for the University to strengthen linkages across its growing ecosystem of collaborators. It provided a platform for senior representatives to exchange perspectives on the evolving landscape of professional education and the shifting demands of workforce development.

Hosted by WOU Chief Commercial Officer Justin Chong, the event welcomed distinguished guests including:
- Pn Norliza Ghazali (CEO and Registrar) and Durghaa Shiny (Senior Executive HR), Sentral Digital College Kuala Lumpur (SDCKL);
- Dr Mohamad Anas Mohamad Anuar (Chief Executive Officer and Head of Company), Johor Skills Development Centre (JSkills);
- Mohamad Hairidz (Vice President of Learning), Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute (ASLI);
- Zubair Mohamad (Assistant Vice President, Project Management & Engagement) and Ashraff Mohd Rasol (Assistant Vice President, Event Department), Asian Institute of Insurance (AII).
Also representing WOU were Mike Sim, Head of Special Projects, WOU Academy; Farhana Mohd Noor, Head of Business Partners and Collaborations; Faizah Ahmad, Head of Marketing; and Norzilawati Md Nordin, Marketing and Admissions Executive.

The luncheon concluded with a shared commitment to explore new frontiers in academic innovation and strategic cooperation to advance talent development.
