WOU-LYL Bursary Award
The WOU-LYL Bursary Award (up to RM9,000) is applicable to new undergraduate students. They will enjoy tuition fee rebates based on the criteria shown below:
Programmes:
- Bachelor's Degree
Criteria
– STPM/ UEC III/ A Level/ Foundation/ Matriculation with CGPA 2.00 and above OR Diploma with CGPA 2.50 and above
- Personal Basic Income ≤ RM6,000 or Family Basic Income ≤ RM12,000
- Minimum enrolment of 3 courses or 8 credits in first semester
Note: Any extra-curricular activities, accomplishments or job/project recognitions will be of added advantage in the selection for the scholarship.

WOU-LYL Scholarship Award for Diploma in Early Childhood Education (DECE)
The WOU-LYL Scholarship for DECE programme is applicable to new students. They will enjoy tuition fee rebates (up to RM5,000) for their first 2 years of studies at WOU based on the criteria shown below:
Programme:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Criteria
- SPM with 3 credits and above
- Personal Basic Income ≤ RM6,000 or Family Basic Income ≤ RM12,000
- Minimum enrolment of 3 courses or 8 credits in first semester

WEF Bursary Award
The Bursary Award is applicable to new undergraduate and postgraduate students based on the criteria shown below:
Undergraduate Programmes (RM1,500)
- Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree
Criteria
- Personal Basic Income ≤ RM6,000 or Family Basic Income ≤ RM12,000
- Minimum enrolment of 8 credits or 3 courses in first semester and signed up for Easy Payment Plan (EPP)
Postgraduate Programmes (RM1,000)
- Master (excluding research based programmes)
Criteria
- Personal Basic Income ≤ RM6,000 or Family Basic Income ≤ RM12,000
- Minimum enrolment of 6 credits or 2 courses in first semester and signed up for Easy Payment Plan (EPP)

Lifelong Learners/Orang Kurang Upaya (OKU) Rebate
WOU offers 50% rebate on tuition fees for learners aged 60 years and above, as well as those who are physically disabled and registered with the Social Welfare Department of the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development.
The rebate is applicable to new students who enrol for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (except MBAs and DBA).
On Campus Learning
WOU-LYL Inaugural Scholarship
The WOU-LYL Inaugural Scholarship is applicable to new undergraduate on-campus full time students. They will enjoy full tuition fee rebates for their 3-year study at WOU based on the criteria shown below:
Programmes:
- Bachelor's Degree
Criteria
- STPM / UEC III / A Level / Foundation / Matriculation / Diploma with CGPA 3.00 and above
- Family Basic Income ≤ RM12,000
- Minimum enrolment of 3 courses or 8 credits in 1st semester

The WOU-LYL Scholarship for DiGiT programmes (up to RM18,000) is applicable to new students. They will enjoy tuition fee rebates for their first year of studies at WOU based on the criteria shown below:
Programmes:
- Bachelor of Digital Business (Honours)
- Bachelor of Software Engineering (Honours) (Application Development)
Criteria
– STPM/ UEC III/ A Level/ Foundation/ Matriculation with CGPA 2.00 and above OR Diploma with CGPA 2.50 and above
- Family Basic Income ≤ RM12,000
- Minimum enrolment of 3 courses or 8 credits in first semester
