  • Led the strategic development of three industry schools at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University: School of Intelligent Manufacturing Ecosystem, School of Robotics, and School of CHIPS at the Taicang Campus. His leadership established sustainable, globally focused strategies for the schools to excel in education, research, and industry engagement through a future-focused learning ecosystem.
  • Held academic and leadership positions at several universities, including the University of Technology Sydney, the University of Nottingham Malaysia, and University College London’s former Australian campus.
  • Adjunct Professor at the University of Technology Sydney’s TD School since 2020.

Published Work

  • Research focuses on curated multidisciplinary and mixed approaches of inquiry, aiming to understand and address complex problems surrounding technology, environmental sustainability, and future energy systems. He employs methods centering on systems thinking to investigate emerging and contemporary issues in technologies and their interaction with society, the environment, economics, and policy.
