WOU welcomes the third batch of full-time students

Then, get to know your Academic Advisors and seek their guidance and finally make full use of the Internet-based learning WOU has created for you. Also remember to get yourself familiarised with WOU’s learning management system, Wawasan2u.”

The students attended briefings on WOU’s regulations and procedures, IT services and facilities, WOU learning management system Wawasan2u, library services, OCL programme details, and on managing campus life.

Sharfifi opted for Management at WOU as he wants to explore and better understand the challenging management issues faced by business nowadays. “My mother works in Human Resources and she was very supportive of my decision to take up Management,” he said.

Another Management degree student, Nur Fatin Afifah Omar, 20, hopes to gain in-depth knowledge of the whole process of starting up and maintaining a business organisation. “My ambition, since three years ago, is to start my own business preferably a bakery. To make this a reality, I need to have a strong foundation in management and I am here at WOU to get as much knowledge as possible,” she elaborated. Fatin did her Foundation Studies at the Albukhary International University.

She finds university life totally different as things seem to be moving at a faster pace but so far she is “coping well”.
