Wawasan Open University has appointed Tan Chong Education Services as its Strategic Academic Partner (SAP) to assist with the recruitment of students into its programmes.
WOU signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the company today to solidify the relationship. The signatories were Vice Chancellor Prof Dato’ Dr Ho Sinn Chye for the University, and the Regional Manager for the Northern and Eastern Regional Office of Tan Chong Education Services, Jerome Wong.
Under the MoA, the company will represent, promote and sell all of the University’s programmes in an effort to secure student recruitments for WOU starting from the July intake. It will particularly assist the Penang Regional Centre (PGRC) to register working adults in the northern region.
Tan Chong joins the increasing number of SAPs engaged by WOU Regional Centres nationwide to reach out to a larger segment of society with the offer of educational opportunities to upgrade their professional qualifications.
