(29 October – 1 November 2007)
The 21st AAOU Annual Conference, themed “Empowering Asia through Partnerships in Open and Distance Education” was held at the Marriot Hotel in Putrajaya, hosted by Open University Malaysia.
With 64 universities from 22 countries presenting 113 papers, it was a great achievement for WOU’s Teoh Ai Ping from the School of Business and Administration as she was awarded the Silver Medal for her paper. Her work titled “A Comparative Analysis of Learners Interaction in the Learning Management System of Shanghai TV University and Wawasan Open University: Does National Culture Matter?” was one of a total five papers submitted by WOU.
We share in our Acting Vice Chancellor Prof Wong Tat Meng’s pride, extending “Our heartiest congratulations to Ai Ping on this excellent achievement. She has done our university proud.”
