Tutors’ Training Programme for KL and JB

Part-time tutors attended a training programme at Menara PGRM, KL, to get themselves familiarised with the university’s tutor system. A total of 57 tutors from Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru participated.

The training programme kicked off with a welcome address from WOU’s Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof Wong Tat Meng, who also briefed the tutors on the university’s model for delivering education to its students.

Tutors were briefed on several key issues relating to tutorial’s assessments, assignments and administration.

An interactive session was conducted by the university’s library unit whereby tutors were given first-hand knowledge into the host of services offered by the e-library.
