Student Orientation in Penang, Ipoh, KL and Johor Bahru

Wawasan Open University commemorated its second orientation today by holding simultaneous programmes at the four states where the university has its regional offices. The orientation for Penang was held at Disted-Stamford College, for Ipoh at Institut Teknologi Perak (ITP), for Kuala Lumpur at Menara PGRM, while for Johor Bahru at Southern College.

The event started with the student registration, followed by welcoming speeches by the respective regional office directors, student representatives, and representatives from WOU headquarters. Other activities included briefing students on the ODL study model and introducing them to WOU’s learning support and services, TMA’s preparations, and hands-on lab sessions.

Goodie bags filled with souvenir items, handouts and a Student Handbook given out to new students.
