Ipoh Regional Office Launch

The Ipoh regional office of Wawasan Open University (WOU) was launched with the aim of supporting students in the Kinta Valley and surrounding areas who are undertaking degree programmes and courses at the university.

Menteri Besar of Perak Dato’ Seri DiRaja Mohamad Tajol Rosli Ghazali launched the event. Also present were Perak State Urban and Local Government Committee Chairman Dato’ Chang Ko Youn (representing WOU Council Chairman Dato’ Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik) and WOU Vice Chancellor and CEO Tan Sri Emeritus Prof Gajaraj Dhanarajan.

Located in the heart of the city centre in Wisma Gerakan at Persiaran Greenhill, the regional office is set to help in the provision of comprehensive educational services for adult learners, including working professionals, who are pursuing further education at WOU.
