Programme description

Computer systems and networks proliferate around the world. These networks range from simple LANs (Local Area Networks) to huge networks like WANs (Wide Area Networks) and internetworks such as the Internet. For many people, online businesses, entertainment, banking and data communication have become indispensable. This programme will prepare you to become a proficient technical worker in the computing or related industries, especially those dealing with network and Internet applications.

Job prospects

Upon graduation, you will be well placed to become a Systems Engineer, Data Communications Engineer, Network Consultant, Network Analyst, Network Administrator, Operations Engineer/Manager, Network Infrastructure Designer, Database Administrator, Systems Programmer, Systems Analyst, LAN Manager or WAN Manager.
