Wawasan Open University operates regional centres throughout
Malaysia so that you are never too far from us. In
the initial phase, four regional centres had been
identified: in the main campus in Penang; Persiaran Green
Hill in Ipoh; Cheras in Kuala Lumpur; and Skudai in Johor
Bahru. A fifth regional centre in Jalan Temenggong, Kota
Bharu opened end of 2007, a sixth in Bandar Utama in
October, 2008, and a seventh in Kuching in October, 2009.
These regional centres promote face-to-face interaction in
open distance learning. They are the ideal
contact points for both formal tutorials and
counselling as well as informal peer support and group study
sessions.
For your added convenience, these regional centres are
equipped with tutorial rooms, computer laboratories,
audio-visual equipment, reference books, and study material
in print and CD-ROM format.
