School of Science and Technology

Overview

The School of Science and Technology offers 12 Bachelor of Technology (Honours) degrees and three Graduate Diplomas in the fields of Information Technology, Electronics and Construction. The twelve BTech(Hons) degrees are:

• Computer Systems and Networks
• Electronic Commerce
• Computing and Intelligent Systems
• Electronics
• Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
• Construction Management
• Software Engineering
• Information Systems
• Database Management
• Networks and Data Communication
• Telecommunications
• Multimedia Design

The three Graduate Diplomas are:

• Electronics
• Telecommunications
• Database Management

Graduation requirements: students must successfully complete the minimum of 120 or 123 credits as stated for Honours degrees and 70 credits for Graduate Diplomas making up from the following components, and obtain a minimum CGPA of 2.0: For course components, please refer to programme structures.
