Introduction

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS)[formerly known as the School of Foundation and Liberal Studies , SFLS] offers degree programmes designed to widen the horizons and improve the critical thinking skills of its students. In addition, the School administers the Headstart programme, designed to bring students up to the level necessary to study at university level, and the government-mandated compulsary courses.
