External membership

Non-members who wish to use Wawasan Open Library may apply for external membership. The details are as follows:

WOU Retirees Membership	RM50.00 - Registration fee (one time) RM250.00 - Deposit (refundable)	Unlimited access to electronic resources Borrowing: 2 books or 2 CD-ROMs for 2 weeks
Personal External Membership	RM50.00 - Registration fee (one time) RM250.00 - Annual membership fee	Unlimited access to electronic resources Borrowing: 2 books or 2 CD-ROMs for 2 weeks
Corporate Membership (5 registered members)	RM50.00 - Registration fee (one time) RM1,000.00 - Annual membership fee	Unlimited access to electronic resources Borrowing: 4 books or 2 CD-ROMs for 2 weeks

Membership Application Form

1. Print the online application form, fill in the details and return the form to the address below

together with :

One passport-size photograph
A cheque of the relevant amount, crossed and made payable to WAWASAN OPEN UNIVERSITY SDN BHD
Send to : Circulation Services Librarian

2. Cards can be collected after 3 working days at the Circulation Services Counter.

Condition/Notes

Applicants will be responsible for ensuring that all outstanding debts to the Library due to books lost or damaged or any other liability that might be incurred are settled.
Application for Corporate membership must be submitted by the Director/Chief Executive Officer of the organization who will also be responsible for ensuring that all outstanding debts to the Library due to books lost or damaged or fines not paid or any other liability that might be incurred are settled.
Please note that certain library facilities and materials may only be accessed by WOU students and staff.
Membership fees are not refundable.
A WOU retiree is defined as a former staff member who has reached the normal retirement age and has officially retired from service with the University.
Those who may obtain library privileges on written application to the Learning & Library Services Director but are exempt from payment of an annual subscription fee:

i. Visiting scholars and researchers of the University

ii. Others as admitted by the University
Those applying for Access Only Membership need not submit any photograph. Applicants are required to register at the Circulation Unit office.
All external members are required to comply with the Library's Rules and regulations, copies of which are available from the Library website.
