Q : Does WOU offer scholarship to its students?
A : Yes...This scholarship scheme is meant to provide an incentive for those potential students who want to further their studies and improve personal and professional opportunities but find themselves under difficult financial circumstances for one reason or another.

The WOU Scholarship Fund will provide financial assistance to new students who wish to re-skill and re-train themselves but who are unsure of their abilities to commit themselves to a full degree programme.

The scholarships will enable new learners to WOU to "test themselves" for the first semester, after which they would be able to assess their capabilities and means in their quest to improve themselves academically.

Q : What is the quantum / amount of the scholarship to be awarded?
A : To cover tuition fees only (up to a maximum of 9 credits) for undergraduate programmes OR RM500 for the Headstart Programme. However, the university reserves the right to provide support for less than nine credits depending on its assessment of an applicant's academic preparedness.
