Biodata:

Dr Por Fei Ping began her career by giving trainings to the management staff and training department personnel in Suzhou, China for the start up production of Suzhou SMI Electronics Co. Ltd.  She then furthered her career in education by involving in designing and developing materials for preschoolers, heading the department in university and managing the language centre.

Dr Por graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia with Bachelor of Arts with Education (Hons) (English Language Studies) and Master of Education (Arts Administration) from RMIT University, Australia. She was formerly the Head of Department (Arts and Social Science) in the Centre for Foundation Studies at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Perak Campus). After obtaining USM Fellowship Award 2010-2013, she continued her Doctor of Philosophy (Educational Technology) with Universiti Sains Malaysia. She was the co-researcher of research grant projects and awarded 2014 Hadiah Pingat Emas (Gold Award for Overall Best Postgraduate Student) – Pelajar Terbaik bagi Doktor Falsafah (Pendidikan) Sidang Akademik 2013/2014, 2014 Sanggar Sanjung Award –Excellent Achievement in Journal Publication for 2012. The research team and she had also won ITEX Gold Medal in the 24th International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX) 2013 and Jury Choice Award of World Education Award 2013.
