Assistant Manager / Manager Corporate Communication (Based in Main Campus, Penang)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing integrated marketing & communications plans.
  • Track of Key Performance Indicators as part of corporate-reporting process. 
  • Develop media relation plans, scheduling and ensuring all media-related projects are implemented correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Complete projects on time, within the budget and keep timely reports on status & progress.
  • Ensure brand messaging and consistency across all forms of media: print, electronic media (Internet, broadcast), signage, special events, presentations, etc.
  • Conceptualize and develop new collaterals to support corporate communication activities internally and externally.
  • Communicate well with board members, stakeholders, and partner organizations to further University’s goals and objectives.
  • Manage internal and external communications materials for review and approval including promotional and corporate documents.
  • Oversee communications that are sent out on a regular basis.
  • Supervise department mailings and other administrative projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and/or speeches geared toward internal and external audiences.
  • Undertake such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned immediate.
  • Event management.

The Job

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher with minimum 3 years of related field experience.
  • A team player who can work effectively with staff.
  • Independent, analytical and people-orientated.
  • Excellent in oral communications and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Possess leadership ability, and tact in dealing with people and issues.
  • Required skill(s): Microsoft Office.
