Positions in any industry as licensed company secretary, advisor to directors and shareholders in relation to corporate compliances, head, manager, executive or other positions in business administration organisations, professional consultants providing company secretarial services to clients, pursue a professional qualification in Company Secretaryship (i.e. ICSA).

Programme Outline

This programme is designed to equip students with knowledge in a number of basic business disciplines. It provides students with skills to function effectively as a company secretary as well as to organise, run, manage,  write reports on statutory and other company meetings. Upon graduation, students will be able to implement corporate compliance and good governance practices. Students will also be able to act as the company's custodian of legality and advise the management on matters regarding shareholder and investor relations.


The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) grants exemptions to holders of Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Corporate Administration.  They will need to complete four subjects to obtain the ICSA International Qualifying Scheme.

Note: MAICSA’s exemption rest with the sole discretion of the body from time to time.
