Design and Animation
Four modules in creative technology
Course syllabus built on an artful blend of creative vision and technology.
This programme will guide students to transfer their imagination into creative productions within a team environment. Collaboration and sharing are important aspects of the training programme. This is to prepare students for the dynamic environment in which they will work. The courses will prepare you for entry level employment in the creative industry in positions such as flash animators and web and graphic designers.

3D Modeling (3 months)
In the Modeling stream, students focus on the
creation of industry standard, production
ready models. Students create a professional
demo reel with high-quality lighting. Students
specializing in Modeling often go on to work as
character, prop, and environment modelers in
the video game, film, and TV industries. |
Visual Effects (3 months)
The Visual Effects (VFX) specialization involves
the production and effects production for a
complete VFX shot suitable for inclusion on the
student's demo reel. Students specializing in
Visual Effects most often go on to work as VFX
or Pre-Visualization artists in film, TV, and
video games. |

Creative Graphics and Web Design
(3 months)
This course prepares learners with
intermediate levels of knowledge and skills in
the design of multimedia content for the web.
It includes elements of interactive design in
relation to the design of pages for the
internet. It covers topics on multimedia
authoring for internet and web design.
Software applications and tools taught include
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Flash and
Dreamweaver. |
3D Animation (3 months)
Students specializing in 3D Animation will
develop a complete animated film, from
concept development through the processes of
animation, lighting, texturing, rendering, and
sound. Students specializing in 3D Animation
most often go on to work as character
animators, texture and lighting artists, and
technical directors in film and television. |
