Biodata: |
Ms Karen Khor Ean Teng is a Lecturer at the School of Science
and Technology, Wawasan Open University (WOU). Ms. Karen has a
Master degree in Information Technology and bachelor degree in
Data Communications and Networking from the Multimedia
University (MMU), and is currently pursuing her PhD studies. Her
current research and expertise areas include SCORM Compliant
e-Learning, Open & Distance Education, ICT in Distance Learning,
Open & Distance Learning Technologies and Mobile Learning
(m-Learning). She has presented papers in conferences and
published research articles in journals. She serves as paper
reviewer for international journal, i.e. The International
Journal of Learning. She is also involved with professional
bodies and associations. She has years of teaching experiences
and has successfully completed several research projects in her
area of expertise. |

Course Development Experience: |
Ms. Karen has successfully developed 8 courses since joining
Wawasan Open University. During each course development process,
she has coordinated the whole development of course materials
(blueprint, unit one to five, course guide, tutor guide, TMAs,
specimen exam questions) well. She has adhered to every deadline
strictly and completed every single course development before
the due. Besides this, she was in close liaison with course
writers and External Course Assessors (ECAs). She also worked
closely with in house Instructional Designer (ID) from ETP
departments. This is the necessary procedures to ensure quality
assurance and quality control of the course materials. |
