Programme description

The programme is designed to equip students with broad knowledge in basic corporate administration and related disciplines. It provides students with knowledge and skills to function as a compliance officer of corporate administration as well as prepare students to organise, run, manage and report on statutory and other corporate administration related issues. In general, students will be able to assist management on matters regarding corporate administartion.

Job prospects

The following are examples of career possibilities that students can expect upon graduation.

Positions in any industry in company secretaryship, corporate compliance, middle level managment business administration organisations, personal consulting in company secretarial to clients.

Graduation requirements: : minimum 70 credits
The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) has agreed to grant exemptions to holders of Graduate Diploma in Corporate Administration as follows:

  • Business Law
  • Business Organisation and Management
  • Corporate Compliance and Practice
  • Law and Practice of Meeting

Holders of Graduate Diploma in Corporate Administration will need to complete four subjects, ie Business Accounting, Business Finance, Business Strategies and Business Ethics by examination to obtain the MAICSA Professional Diploma in Corporate Administration (PDCA). The MAICSA PDCA is a feeder route to the ICSA International Qualifying Scheme.

Note: MAICSA's exemption rest with the sole discretion of the body from time to time.
