Biodata: |
Dr.Leow Ghin Yin, pursued her PhD studies in Economics (majoring international trade) in Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). She was under the USM Fellowship while doing her doctoral studies. During that time, she served as an Economics tutor in the School of Social Sciences, USM. She also obtained her Master of Economics Management from USM.
Dr Leow has substantial experience in the teaching profession. Since her first degree graduation, she has been lecturing in several private learning institutions such as the PTPL College (formerly know as Institute Perkim Goon), Kemayan ATC College and Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman (TAR). Formerly, she was also a tutor in the Wawasan Open University (WOU). She taught diverse Economics courses, ranging from Microeconomics to Macroeconomics. Her specialization is in international trade.
Other than teaching experiences, Dr. Leow does research work, mainly in international macroeconomics. Prior to joining WOU, she was a research assistant under the USM Post-Doctoral Fellowship. She has several articles published in referred journals namely the International Journal of Management Studies, International Applied Economics and Management Letters (IAEML) and Malaysian Journal of Economic Studies. She has presented her papers in international conferences such as the East Asian Economic Convention and Singapore Economic Review Conference. |
