Programme description
This programme is designed to equip students with knowledge in a number of
basic business disciplines. It provides students with skills to function
effectively as a company secretary as well as to organise, run, manage,w
rite reports on statutory and other company meetings. Upon graduation,
students will be able to implement corporate compliance and good governance
practices. Students will also be able to acts as the company's custodian of
legality and advise the management on matters regarding shareholder and
investor relations.
Job prospects
The following are examples of career possibilities that students
can expect upon graduation.
Positions in any industry as licensed company secretary, advisors to
directors and dhareholders in relation to corporate compliances, head,
manager, executive or other positions in business administration
organisations, professional consultants providing company secretarial
services to clients, pursue a professional qualification in Company
Secretaryship (i.e. ICSA).

Administration) will need to complete four subjects, ie
Corporate Administration, Corporate Governance, Corporate
Financial Management, and Company Secretaryship by
examination to obtain the ICSA International Qualifying
Scheme.
